CONGRATS DYLAN AND JOSH! π₯³
Hey Reader,
Before we start the winter tennis session we just wanted to take a moment to celebrate the efforts of longtime Colossal Tennis students Dylan Warn and Josh LaTour who just competed in the 14's Level 1: USTA Winter National Championships where they placed 4th at the doubles tournament! π€―
Traveling to San Antonio, Texas to battle it out against the best players in the country, the guys won four hard fought matches including three in clutch third-set tiebreakers. The semifinal was an epic match that the boys narrowly lost in three-sets 6-2, 3-6, 4-6.
Dylan and Josh have been training with us since they were 8 years old, and for over five years they have worked tirelessly year round at Colossal Tennis. πͺ
Additionally, this past summer both boys decided to pursue their national goals more seriously, and they committed to taking their training to the next level by joining our first ever Academy program. There they spent the entire summer engaged in full-day tennis training and matchplay with many other committed students.
To watch the guys achieve their best all-time results and capture national semifinalist honors just 6 months after leveling up their training and joining our Academy program is so rewarding as a coach and teacher.
For those who want to learn more about our summer academy program offerings click here, and you will be the first in line to get registration information and special offers when we release the information in the coming weeks.
We are immensely proud of the hard work & effort of Josh and Dylan! Congrats gentlemen and this is just the start!
